| Microsearch Security Statement |
We take security very seriously at Microsearch. When we require any
sensitive information from our web site users, such as credit card
information for purchases, we use a "Secure Socket Layer" (see below for
more information). We also intervene manually in the actual processing
of your credit card transaction to further ensure your security.
Please note that we do not send credit card information via email nor do
we distribute any credit card or other personal information outside our
business.

What is a Secure Socket Layer? |
SSL, which stands for "Secure Socket Layer" , is an industry-standard
method used for passing credit card numbers and other sensitive
information across the Internet. SSL binds a person’s or a computer’s
identity to a pair of electronic keys that can be used to encrypt and
digitally "sign" information to prove its authenticity. SSL works with
Digital IDs to provide a complete secure solution, assuring the privacy
of all parties involved in an online transaction.

Email Security |
Microsearch also takes the possibilities of virus attacks very
seriously. To protect you against the possibility of virus attacks, all
emails sent by our licensing system are plain text emails without
attachments. In addition, we continuously scan all Microsearch computers
(and all emails sent by those computers) for virus infections with the
most up-to-date virus definition information available.
|
|
Download Security |
We also scan all files available for download from our web site with the
latest virus scanning software before those files are uploaded to our
web server.
|
| Privacy |

without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith
belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of

(b) protect and defend the rights or property of Microsearch and its
