Overview
Dr. Robin R.
Steeves has 30 years experience in geodesy and geomatics
engineering. He has had a wide range of research, development, and
management experience in these fields. His experience has been in
all three of the university, industry, and government (both
provincial and federal) environments.
Since 1975 Robin
has performed a variety of geodetic field work, taught university
courses in geodesy and adjustment calculus, performed research in
geodesy and geomatics, managed and supervised research and
development in geodesy and geomatics, performed adjustments of many
geodetic networks of various types and sizes around the world,
managed (as a senior manager) the field survey program at the
Geodetic Survey of Canada, and developed internationally acclaimed
computer software.
He has authored
and co-authored more than 35 scientific and technical papers (see
list below). He very much enjoys the challenges presented to him by
consulting and collaborating in geodesy and geomatics, related
technologies, and associated research and development.
